Logistics in Nigeria, especially for eCommerce and personal deliveries, often lack streamlined solutions for booking, tracking, and managing shipments.
GIGL needed an intuitive app to make logistics accessible, reliable, and easy for all users, from individuals to businesses.
Research Phase
User Interviews: Conducted interviews with various users (business owners, frequent online shoppers, etc.) to understand common pain points like delivery delays, tracking issues, and interface confusion.
Competitive Analysis: Studied other logistics apps to identify gaps and strengths, focusing on UX, simplicity, and reliability.
Key Findings:
- Users need real-time tracking and simple booking.
- A streamlined process for calculating shipping rates and choosing delivery options.
- A clear support feature for managing issues or changes to deliveries.
Defining User Personas

Ideation and Design Strategy
User Flow Design: Mapped out flows for each major feature – booking, tracking, calculating shipping rates, and user support.
Wireframes and Prototypes: Created wireframes to visualize the flow and low-fidelity designs to refine the user experience.
